The COMPENSER® C-series hydraulic industrial shock absorber is specifically designed for use in various industrial applications in the field of light to medium mechanical engineering. It is particularly suitable for storage and retrieval machines, smaller conveyor systems, crane systems, and test stands.

With its compact design, this hydraulic buffer can be utilized as an emergency end stop to limit the end position in industrial machinery, making it a space-saving option. Additionally, its low reset force allows for operational pushin cycles at slow speeds.

In terms of design and function, the piston rod enters the metering tube, allowing the damping medium to flow from the pressure chamber through the throttle orifices of the metering tube into the volume balance chamber. The nitrogen gas located between the outer tube and the metering tube is compressed and stores the energy required for the reset of the piston rod. Once the piston rod returns to its initial position, the damping medium flows back into the pressure chamber.
