Sheathing thermocouples are highly versatile and durable, making them suitable for various industries including industrial, developmental, and laboratory settings. These thermocouples are designed with hot junction insulation as a standard feature, ensuring accurate measurements by preventing any interference from offset superposition.

One significant advantage of sheathing thermocouples is their flexibility. They can be easily integrated into the installation point, allowing for temperature measurements to be taken at the desired location. Additionally, the entire length of the thermocouple is flexible, providing freedom in positioning.

To facilitate easy installation and data acquisition, sheathing thermocouples come with various options. These options include choosing the element diameter, element and wire length, as well as the type of connection configuration such as plug, socket, or bare wire ends.

In terms of temperature range, sheathing thermocouples can handle a wide range from -100 °C to +750 °C, continuously. However, the actual temperature range depends on the selected sheathing diameter and the measuring medium or atmosphere.

The wire type used in sheathing thermocouples is silicone, which has a high maximum temperature resistance of up to +180 °C. This ensures reliable and durable performance even in high-temperature environments.
