Our pressure equalisation elements (formerly Gothe & Co. GmbH) are designed to address the air exchange needs in sealed housings. These elements have gained a reliable reputation worldwide for their performance. In environments with high temperatures and adverse conditions, pressure fluctuations within sealed housings are inevitable. However, our pressure equalisation elements offer a solution to this problem, enabling you to protect your sensitive electronics and enhance the lifespan of your electronic devices.

One of the key advantages of our pressure equalisation elements is their ability to reduce condensate formation, ensuring that moisture does not accumulate and cause damage. Additionally, these elements provide protection against harmful fluids and particles, further safeguarding your electronics.

The pressure equalisation elements come with several special features. They have a flat construction, making them easy to install either from the inside or outside of the housing. With a 100% salt retention capacity, they provide reliable performance. These elements are also highly robust and available in various versions to suit different needs. The air passage capacity can reach up to 400 ml per minute.

The technical specifications of the pressure equalisation elements are as follows: the mounting body cap option includes brass (with optional nickel-plating, chrome-plating, or stainless steel). The membrane is made of ePTFE, which is oleophobic, ensuring efficient performance. The O-ring is made of NBR (with optional options of EPDM, FKM, or silicone). The water ingress pressure is greater than 0.6 bar. The protection class is in accordance with DIN EN 60529, with options for IP66 and IP68 (when installed properly). These elements can withstand temperatures from -40 °C to +80 °C (-150 °C temporarily).
