The Aerolift pipe lifting solutions are versatile and designed to handle various scenarios in the industrial sector. They are specifically implemented during production, storage, transhipment, and internal transport processes. In this case, we have developed a unique lifting solution tailored for the safe and efficient handling of both bare and coated pipes on board a ship called The Amazon. Notably, The Amazon has been transformed into an ultra-deepwater J-Lay vessel.

To facilitate the loading and unloading of 24-meter-long pipes within a cargo hold, our vacuum lifting devices have been strategically installed on four cargo hold cranes. When operating in tandem mode, these cranes effectively manage the movement of the pipes. The lifting devices are meticulously engineered to minimize deflection of double joint pipes, ensuring optimal safety during the lifting process. Moreover, they possess the capability to handle the entire pipe solely through their vacuum functionality.
