Metawell Alu-Silent (sound reduction) is a patented aluminum sandwich panel that offers exceptional sound insulation without compromising on weight or panel thickness. This is achieved through the use of special sand filling in the corrugated channels of the panel. Despite the addition of sound insulation, the Metawell panels still maintain their excellent static values and high fire ratings.

There are two different types of Alu-Silent panels available. The Alu-Silent hl 10-03-10 hl H 11.5 has a panel thickness of 11.5 mm, a sound reduction index Rw of 38dB, and weighs 20.0 kg per square meter. The Alu-Silent hl 08-02-05 hl H 6, on the other hand, has a panel thickness of 6 mm, a sound reduction index Rw of 32dB, and weighs 10.9 kg per square meter.

In addition to its sound reduction capabilities, Metawell also offers panels with integrated heating wire. This unique design allows the panel to function as an excellent heating element.
