SCHÖPP® Champion is a high-quality tennis surface that is perfect for amateur and club players. Made from a coarse and durable polyamide yarn with a filament thickness of 200 dtex, this surface offers a comfortable playing experience. With a pile height of 6mm and lower filament density, it provides a less aggressive surface compared to traditional hardcourts.

The SCHÖPP® Champion is designed to mimic the characteristics of a sand court, with a slow ball bounce that is ideal for players who prefer a softer playing surface. The topspin and slice shots are slightly dampened, making it easier to control the ball during gameplay.

Thanks to its robust construction, the SCHÖPP® Champion can be played on with profiled tennis shoes without the need for granules. However, for those who prefer a velour-like texture, the optional granule infill of 400 gu002Fsqm Perfect Glide extruded granules can be added.

For many years, velour needlefelt floor coverings with granulate infill have been widely used in the tennis industry. These surfaces were typically made of 100% polypropylene fiber and have proven to be durable and reliable choices as tennis court coverings.
