معلومات اساسية

Generally, dosing pumps are oscillating displacement pumps with adjustable stroke length. They are commonly used in various industries for precise and controlled delivery of liquids.

In terms of the driving mechanism, dosing pumps can be equipped with either hydraulically actuated diaphragms or electric motors. The latter option provides the added benefit of adjusting the delivery flow by modifying the motor rotation speed in addition to stroke length adjustment.

For applications requiring a small delivery flow and low delivery pressure, electromagnetically driven pumps have become the preferred choice. These pumps can easily be adapted to the process requirements by manually modifying the stroke frequency or by using an external control signal (either pulse or analog).

One example of an electromagnetic dosing pump is the LMI pump, which can achieve a flow rate of up to 76 l/h and a pressure of up to 20.7 bar.

In recent years, microprocessor-controlled dosing pumps with stepping motors have also been introduced. These pumps offer a wide range of possibilities and options for adjusting the delivery flow and monitoring the delivery rate. The driving mechanism of these pumps provides additional functionality for precise control and accuracy in dosing applications.
