The EarlyTect Colon Cancer Test is a highly reliable and industry-approved screening tool for colorectal cancer. It has been granted approval by the Korea Ministry of Food and Drug Safety following extensive clinical trials conducted at reputed medical centers such as Yonsei Medical Center, Severance Hospital, and Severance Check-up Center. These trials involved 585 men and women aged 30-80 who were eligible subjects for the study.

Using advanced fecal DNA analysis, the clinical trials demonstrated an impressive 90% sensitivity and specificity in diagnosing colorectal cancer (CRC). The EarlyTect Colon Cancer Test employs a qualitative real-time PCR technique to detect methylated Syndecan-2, a biomarker that is clinically associated with precancerous lesions of CRC, in stool DNA. It serves as an effective means to diagnose colorectal cancer, although it is important to note that the product does not confirm the presence of colorectal cancer itself. However, a positive result does indicate the likelihood of CRC or its precancerous lesions in the subject.
