معلومات اساسية
The Vigour variety is known for its medium to strong growth and spreading, ramified branches. This variety blooms in mid-season, approximately 5 days before Golden Delicious. It is a spurnbearer, meaning it does not require pruning.
In terms of pollination, Vigour is a triploid variety and therefore not suitable as a pollinator. However, any diploid variety with the same blossom date, such as Gala, Granny Smith, or Idared, can serve as a good pollinator.
The fruit appearance of Vigour is conic in shape, with weak or no ribbing on its surface. The entire fruit has an intensely medium-dark to dark red color. The flesh is firm yet creamy in texture, and it is juicy with a sweet-sour taste.
Vigour produces medium to large-sized fruits in terms of diameter. The harvest time for this variety is early October. Jonaprince is known for being an excellent and reliable yielder.
